- Ode to Summer -

It's been way too long since my last post. I remember when I had to post at least once a week on here for my class. Well, now that this is more of a fun project than a requirement, it just doesn't get nearly as much attention as it used to. So summer is going good. I finished my first summer class and I must say, I knew my professor didn't give that many A's, but I thought for sure I wouldn't fall victim to the dreaded B again. So there goes my graduating with honors. As a Grad Student, you can only have a 4.0 to graduate with honors. I guess I understand since you have to make a B to say in the program, but I'm a little disappointed now. So now I'm sitting at a 3.75, but I'm currently taking this wonderful professor who doesn't give A's easily again. So we shall see. Well the girl that used to work with me quit last week. She went back home. I really liked her. This is probably the first job I've worked that I haven't disliked anyone. Everyone here is so great to get along with. It's too scary sometimes when I think about it. It reminds me of the Stepford wives. Could I be in the Stepford workplace? Maybe so. How's tutoring going? It's going great. I enjoy my pleasant Japanese students who are quite a mixture of a group. I lost one on the first day, so I only have five students instead of six. I should get another two or three in a few weeks. They cycle in every four weeks. I have four that are just fantastic to talk to. We joke and make fun all the time. But there is the one that seems to be bored all the time. I can't really say if it's just that our personalities clash, or if I have nothing new to offer that she doesn't already know (I doubt this) but otherwise, I love it. Almost as much as I loved law, but law is on hold for now. Let me make a decent living and decide to become an attorney later on in life. By the way I'm taking a Rhetoric class now, so it's reminding me a little of my law classes. Whelp I suppose that's all I'm going to write for now considering I am currently at work. Maybe I should work or maybe not! Until we meet again, take what you want and leave rest (my new catch phase)
