So I've just about finished my first semester of grad school and I'm really ready for it to be over. The funny part of it is that I'm taking another 9 hours in the summer and get this, 16 in the fall. Now let me clarify. I'm not taking them all at once. The summer will be split up into three 4-week sessions: May, June, and July. And the fall will be split up into 3-hours in the August intersession, 10-hours over the full 16 weeks, and 3-hours over the last 8 weeks. So technically, I'll only have 13 hours at most over the last 8-weeks. Then I will try and knock out 3-hours over the January Intersession and complete the last 12-hours in the Spring and graduate with my Master's degree. I'm excited about being completely done for a while. I got a part time teaching gig over the summer already lined up. It will just be a couple of nights a week tutoring and substituting second language English classes. I'm really excited about this gig because it will give me experience to allow me to go over seas next summer to teach full time. I will be teaching mostly Asian students in order to immerse myself into the language. And I'm also taking Chinese in the summer, fall, and spring mostly through correspondence courses with Tulsa community college. So I'm excited that I'm on track to finish next year and start working into a full time career.
