Okay, so I'm going to go off on a little tangent. It's been so long since last I've complained about the opposite sex, that I thought I might be getting a little soft. So I have this friend that I used to work with that I haven't talked to in a while. So out of the blue he calls me on my old cell phone. I keep it active just for such occasions and for just such people who haven't talked to me in so long that they don't know my new phone number. The back story is that I activated it as a pre-paid phone and it only has 1 minute left, so all it does is ring and take messages. So of course I didn't answer it when he called. Didn't even know it rang for a few days. So when I did get his message, I called him back. And he didn't answer. So I waited a few days and sent him an e-mail. Still no answer. So at this point I'm a little peeved. I pretty much stopped talking to him in the first place because I thought it was a one way friendship and I pretty much thought he was getting annoyed with me calling and e-mailing him. But out of the blue I get this random phone call and then no more contact. Why? If you only want to talk to me on your own terms, save it. I enjoyed our conversations and liked hanging out with the guy, but how much can you take when you feel someone just wants to blow you off. I don't know if he thought that I wanted more than just a friendship and that's what keeps him away, but I assure you, that wasn't the case. As a matter of fact, until recently (like 3 weeks ago) I wasn't even single. I can blame myspace on that breakup, but I'm going to wait to tell that tragedy for another day. Most likely when I get over the shock and the anger that I have over the whole situation. But that just irks me. Why do that. I understand if you're busy, but why call in the first place if you don't have time to talk? Of course he most likely won't read this anyway, so I don't know why I'm making such a big fuss over it. So that's enough of that…until later, take what you want and leave the rest.
