- Been forever - Friday, November 13, 2009 I completely forgot I had this blog until I signed into my goggle account and remembered at one time I was required to post to a blog for an online class I took at UCO. I miss some of my old buddies that used to read and sometimes respond to my blog. I find that they no longer have the same accounts anymore so it's tough to know what they are doing. I miss writing and getting so many things off my chest. So much has happened in the last year. I sold my house, bought a new house, and changed my major to counseling. Eventually I will graduate with my master's degree, but I want it to be in something I'll actually make use of. Counseling has always been my passion. I love to listen and helping people just feels good. Besides, I'm not the most sane needle in the haystack, so I'm probably helping myself with all the free counseling sessions my classmates are giving me as we practice our skills. I like what I do. Never thought I'd say that about a job that's so challenging. Everyday I'm worked to my limit and I still come back the next day ready to do it all over again. I have never been able to say that about any position I've held over the past 15 years of working. As I type rollin by Tina Turner is roaring in my head. I'm such a gobber LOL Anyway, my insomnia is wearing off so I guess I'll go back to bed for a few hours. Night all who may be rumbling through blogs.
