- Relief - Sunday, December 11, 2005 I wonder how many ways I could spell relief at this point. It was a hard road and now it seems that just as I am getting comfortable in my new home the rug gets pulled out underneath me. I turned on the dishwasher for the first time since the inspection, and boy I realize that it doesn't drain the water. Can you believe that? I wonder if my inspector, who evidently missed a broken window in the living room, just didn't care to look and see if the dishwasher drained the water as he turned it on? Okay, what was the point of running it if you weren't really going to make sure it worked? But oh well. Just what I needed. Now I can't use the money I got from closing to repair the old repairs, because I have new more important ones that need to be done.
